なまこ壁
これは、なまこ壁という、昔の土蔵の腰壁に使われている様式です。
本来は腰壁に平瓦をひし形に並べて貼り付けて、継ぎ目
を漆喰でかまぼこ型に盛り上げて塗りつけてあります。
ひし形に並べるのは継ぎ目を斜めにする事で、水はけを
良くする為で、瓦は防火性を良くする為です。なぜなまこ壁と
呼ばれるかと言うと、盛り上げた漆喰が海鼠（なまこ）に似ている
からだそうです。他に亀甲形、四画形も在るようです。
最近では、写真のように平瓦は使わずに塗装で仕上ます。
漆喰は下地にコンクリート釘を打ち、ステンレス針金を巻き付けて
脱落防止を計ってあります。
